Project REBIRTH #1: Basic combat implementation

Hello world! What better way is there to kick off a game dev than to go through and upload a backlog of WIP videos?
The above video was recorded on 23/04/2023. Here I have a rudimentary implementation of basic combat where the player can attack enemies, be attacked, and can die. Basic AI can also be seen chasing the player and attacking when they are close. Animations are made using blender, with a few of them currently reused from my work on my previous uni project, Project KIRA.
This should be the first in hopefully many videos detailing my progress working on my 3D Character Action game. I've gone through different names as you can probably see closely in the above video, and have currently settled on Project REBIRTH. The hope is too eventually release a standalone game on online game storefronts, but in the mean time it can be a good visual reference for the skills I've learnt and am learning.
